Eagles @ Cowboys LIVE
The intensity is always high, the emotions high, everyone wants to win. It's a brawl. It's always one where you got to get the ice bags ready."
"HERE WE GOOO!"
If you've been watching the Cowboys this season, then by now, quarterback Dak Prescott's "Here we go" cadence is probably stuck in your head like a pop song.
Before each play, Prescott yells "Here we go!" which is then typically followed by "White 80 set!"
The reason for the call was for the Cowboys offense to have better communication. Prescott said last week that the cadence was a way for them to all be on the same page, "using the cadence to our advantage".
“The linemen wanted a little something before. For me, really, it’s to tell them, stop the communicating, here we go,” said Prescott
"Here We Go", the song
The cadence has gotten so much attention now that it's actually become a song. Preston Wayne and 13lackbeard (feat. Prescott of course) have made it into somewhat of a Cowboys anthem.
“I personally was tired of playing ‘We Dem Boyz’ because Wiz Khalifa is not even from Dallas,” said 13lackbeard. “I wanted something that was going to be original that the fans would love and that could carry over to the radio in the same light of how ‘We Dem Boyz’ was. When I heard ‘Here we go’ and how the cadence came out, I immediately messaged Dak.”
Prescott called it "fire" and the Cowboys posted it to their social media days later. Wayne and 13lackbeard are performing at the west plaza of AT&T Stadium ahead of the game tonight.

Cowboys are favorites to win
The last time these NFC East rivals met on November 5, the Eagles won at home by just 5 points, 28-23. The Cowboys have not lost a game since then.
The Eagles are coming off of a blowout home loss to the San Francisco 49ers last week, 42-19. That gives the Cowboys at least a chance to take the top seed in the NFC if they win tonight. After last week’s loss, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has a 19-10 touchdown-to-interception ratio, and the Niners limited him to just 57% completion rate and one passing touchdown.
The Cowboys defense is allowing just 15.8 points per game on average at AT&T Stadium, with Micah Parsons and DaRon Bland leading the stats. QB Dak Prescott has a 26-6 touchdown-to-interception ratio and 13 of those touchdowns came in the last four games. In the last five home games, the Cowboys have scored at least 38 points. The Cowboys are on a roll and they are not looking to slow down tonight.
Not to mention, the Cowboys are on a 14-game home win streak with their last home loss coming in the 2022 season opener to Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Eagles defense showing weakness
After last week’s loss to the 49ers, the Eagles have shown their weaknesses on defense. They gave up 42 to the Niners and are averaging 29 points and 435 yards allowed per game.
The Cowboys are averaging an NFL-high of 32.3 points per Game and 34.1 at home. They have the top-ranked scoring offense. The Eagles have the 24th-ranked scoring defense. Not only is Prescott on a streak, playing some of his best Football of his career, but the rest of the offense has been on a roll too. Running back Tony Pollard is on track for 1,400 scrimmage yards and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has 90 catches for 1,200 yards. Lamb and Brandin Cooks have combined for 1,679 yards and 12 touchdowns. And tight end Jake Ferguson has five touchdowns.
The Eagles have not beaten the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in five straight games and they haven’t swept them in a season since 2011.
Eagles could clinch playoff spot tonight
If the Eagles beat the Cowboys tonight, they could clinch their spot in the playoffs.
I don’t think anyone expects the Eagles not to go to the playoffs at this point. At 10-2, they are the top team in the NFC. Of course, it’s possible, but it’s quite unlikely.
If you missed it, the Baltimore Ravens beat the Los Angeles Rams in a thrilling overtime game earlier today, which was great news for Philly. Now, a win over the Cowboys is the only thing they need to get that playoff spot guaranteed.
Can the Cowboys clinch their playoff spot with a win over the Eagles?
The Cowboys, on the other hand, cannot clinch their spot in the playoffs, even if they beat the Eagles tonight. Since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints both won their games this week, the Cowboys will have to wait until next week to officially secure a spot. Even still, it’s also unlikely they miss the playoffs this season either.
Dallas is just one game behind the Eagles at 9-3, but if the Eagles win, they’ll be two games up and hold the head-to-head tiebreaker. If the Cowboys win, however, they would win the tie-breaker as they actually hold the better divisional record. Despite that, the Eagles would win the division crown if both teams won out and tied at the end of the season due to their better conference record.
Good evening everyone and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys game!
