DC Announces The Batman Part 2, Still Working On A Black Superman Movie

The James Gunn and Pet er Safran-led DC Universe has finally revealed its future projects. Under this new leadership, we are getting two new Batman movies, with one being a sequel to Matt Reeves's The Batman, and a Superman movie as well. As reported by Variety, out of the two Batman projects, one is the sequel to Matt Reeves’ movie with Robert Pattinson playing the Caped Crusader. However, the other one is a very fascinating choice. We're also getting a movie that will feature both Batman and Robin, based on the 1967 comic series, The Brave and the Bold. RELATED: James Gunn Is Right To Reboot The DC Universe And Recast Superman It will also be the first time since the 1997 Batman and Robin movie that we’ll see Robin alongside Batman in a live-action movie. Technically, Robin was a part of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Rises, but he never put on the mask or the outfit, so we won't count that. As for Matt Reeves’ movie, the script is being developed, and it is ex

Legends of Runeterra 2023 Roadmap Includes Player Tournaments, Monthly Events, New Competitive Structure

It’s January, or as I like to call it, the month of roadmaps. Everyone is releasing their 2023 roadmap to set player expectations, and Legends of Runeterra is no different. Riot promises a stellar year of content including a new quarterly release cycle that will bring at least four expansions followed by balance patches and a "variety set." Riot is also working on new events, new ways to flex your achievements, and the possibility of acquiring legacy content that’s no longer in the Game . Legends of Runeterra's competitive format will see changes in the very near term. The Beta season of competitive will soon arrive and introduce a new "standard" format that we assume will work similarly to Magic: The Gathering--older cards will be relegated to a new "eternal" format, while newer(ish) cards get to be the center of PvP. Expect some new prestige PvP rewards too. THEGAMER VIDEO OF THE DAY Related: London Is The Centre Of The E S

LeBron James scoring record: Predicting when Lakers star will pass Kareem with game-by-game projections

LeBron James has officially hit the home stretch of his pursuit of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's record for the most points in NBA history. After Saturday's game against the Boston Celtics, he is 117 points shy of owning the career scoring title. The Lakers may have lost this game in heartbreaking fashion , especially for James, who was furious with a non-call on his possible game-winning layup.  But LeBron certainly did his part, scoring 41 points in an overtime defeat. (We had projected that he would score 29 points.) He finished the night with six 3s, shooting 15 of 30 from the floor. That performance shaved his pace down by a game, and at his season-long scoring average of 30.2 points per game, James would break the record four games from now, in a road date with the New Orleans Pelicans on Feb. 4. Of course, we know that averages can be a bit misleading. And there are additional factors, including whether he

Pokemon Red Speedrunner Pokeguy May Have Just Set An Unbeatable World Record

Pokemon Red speedrunning, particularly its any% glitchless category, is very serious Business . So serious that despite attempts from some of the community's top performers, the record for the quickest run has stood for two years. That was until this week when pokeguy didn't only break it, he smashed the previous record by more than a minute. A minute might be nothing to most people, but in speedrunning terms, particularly Pokemon Red speedrunning terms, it's an absolute lifetime. Reported by Game sRadar, pokeguy set the new record on January 25, 2023, finishing Pokemon Red in a record 1:44:03. The previous record which had stood for two years was 1:45:05. Twitter to give advertisers tweet-level analysis

Twitter Inc will team up with digital ad verification companies Integral Ad Science and DoubleVerify Holdings Inc to provide advertisers tweet-level analysis on content appearing next to their ads, the companies said on Wednesday. IAS and DoubleVerify, who have both previously partnered with Twitter, use Technology to independently verify that digital ads are viewed by real people. Advertisers use the services to ensure the ads they pay for are seen by potential customers and not automated bots. The extended partnerships come at a time when the social media platform is struggling with falling revenue, as advertisers slash their spending on the platform after billionaire Elon Musk made several changes following his takeover. "Marketers are looking for confidence to continue to invest in Twitter and eventually grow their investment... and that is what this is all about," said Craig Ziegler, senior vice president, Product Management of Integral Ad Science . High On Life Dev Squanch Games Announces Justin Roiland Resignation

Following the news that Adult Swim and Rick & Morty have cut ties with Justin Roiland following the reveal of his domestic battery and wrongful imprisonment charges, High on Life developer Squanch Game s has announced that Justin Roiland handed in his resignation on January 16 earlier this year, as the co-creator will no longer be part of the development team. Sonic Designer Reveals Concept Art From Before Sonic Was A Hedgehog

The designer behind the iconic character Sonic the Hedgehog, Naoto Ohshima, recently shared some very early concept art from the series on Twitter, revealing that Sonic once looked like a child with spiky blue hair. The images have since been going viral, attracting all sorts of attention from fans of the franchise. Ohshima posted the pictures on Twitter along with a short description to the effect that what turned up on the social media platform was for an “action Game about twin brothers who protect the dream world from Nightmare World's boss Thirteen,” noting how this “evolved into Sonic.” RELATED: 8 Best Sonic Game s For Beginners When a follower explained how “I've heard that the first Sonic Game was supposed to take place inside of a dreamlike world with strange looking monsters and creatures like Alice in Wonderland instead of robots and cute Animals ,” Ohshima replied that “it was an idea for a Game that I came up with on my own. Fallout New Vegas Stock Exchange Mod Gives You A New Way To Make Caps

When the bombs fell, it cleared everything away: communities, governments, and even whole economic systems. The world of Fallout: New Vegas turned to barter with bottle caps, a relic of the old world used to define currency and perhaps to remind people of a world where such items were so common they were virtually valueless. New Vegas, with its sprawling strip filled with casinos and free markets, is perhaps the closest the world of Fallout has to a commercial heartland, so it makes sense that it would be the place where capitalism regains its footing. Astronomers used to think that it was just a “filament” of galaxies. But latest research proposes that this structure not just bigger but its size has astronomers scratching their heads. Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall a massive galactic superstructure. Dr. Jon Hakkila, an astrophysics professor at the College of Charleston in South Carolina and one of the astronomers who discovered the structure, told The Huffington Post: “The Her-CrB GW is larger than the theoretical upper limit on how big universal structures can be. Thus, it is a conundrum: it shouldn’ t exist but apparently does.” Mysteries just like this are why astronomers observe the skies for a glimpse into the past, as they shed light not only on the initial years of our cosmos, but also more about our own galaxy, as well as our solar system, and ultimately, ourselves. As astronomers are still charting the sky, there just may be something even bigger than the Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall in our universe

Climate misinformation 'rocket boosters' on Musk's Twitter

New research shows climate misinformation has been flourishing on Twitter since Elon Musk bought the platform last year WASHINGTON -- Search for the word “climate” on Twitter and the first automatic recommendation isn't “climate crisis” or “climate jobs” or even “climate change” but instead “climate scam.” Clicking on the recommendation yields dozens of posts denying the reality of climate change and making misleading claims about efforts to mitigate it. Such misinformation has flourished on Twitter since it was bought by Elon Musk last year, but the site isn't the only one promoting content that scientists and environmental advocates say undercuts public support for policies intended to respond to a changing climate. “What's happening in the information ecosystem poses a direct threat to action," said Jennie King, head of climate research and response at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, a London-based nonprofit. “It plants those seeds of doubt and makes people th
